Although this Easter weekend has seemed to fly, it has been a blast!!! Nana and Mrs. Delorme hung out with us yesterday while Tripp, Kip and Daddy removed the old motor from the pontoon boat. Jackson and Mary rode their bikes around the yard. Actually, Mary road Jackson's bike and tied the wagon to it so she could pull him around. After a fun day outside, everyone came in and worked on showers and dinner. Mary insisted that she needed her hair curled for Easter morning, and since we didn't have any curlers with us, we used some of DaDa's OTC's. I have to say that Mary looked a lot like Medusa with the socks hanging off of her head. Shannon took a picture, but for some reason the camera erased it.
Last night after the kids went to bed, the adults worked on Easter eggs and the kids baskets. I gave Tripp a Nerf basketball goal as a joke. When we were in the old trailer, we took out 2 light fixtures in one weekend. We lost the one in the dining room because Tripp and I were playing basketball with a goal that suction-cupped to the sliding glass doors. No light fixtures were taken out this year, but all I can say is that I am glad Kip and I are done having kids, because Tripp may have taken care of that for us with the basketball. :)
This morning, Kip and I were woken up by Jackson showing us his new race car. He actually got Guido, Luigi and Darrell Cartrip from the Easter Bunny. He was so excited. We came downstairs and DaDa cracked a few eggs on his head. After breakfast, we all had to get ready for church. Shannon pointed out after getting dressed, that it was before noon and she was awake. Better yet, she was awake and wearing PANTY HOSE and HIGH HEELS!!!! We made it to church and Jackson sang every hymn that they played. He didn't know the words, but he had the tune right.
After lunch, Jackson watched "The Bee Movie" and Mary took her newest Webkin outside for a bike ride. She got a pink poodle this morning that she named Wendy. She has had picnics with her Webkinz and has taken them all for bike rides. She and I have decided that she needs a backpack for them so that she can carry them easier when she rides.
Unfortunately, Uncle Bubba and Aunt Shannon had to leave. They are headed to Folly Beach (I think) to chaperone Spring Break for a couple of kids from LMA. When they left, Shannon asked up to put in an order for warmer weather (since today is only 64F). I told her the order would arrive on Wednesday.
We've still got 5 more days down here, so we will see what kind of trouble we get into over the course of the week.

If it is Easter, don't forget SuperBunny !!! Many years ago, Tripp took bendable rubber bunny and made him a cape with SB on it. He is still around and has never missed an Easter with us.
